2023年是習(xí)近平總書記提出共建“一帶一路”倡議十周年。十年來(lái)，“一帶一路”已成為深受歡迎的國(guó)際公共產(chǎn)品和國(guó)際合作平臺(tái)，“一帶一路”真正成為發(fā)展之路、機(jī)遇之路、繁榮之路。
The year 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative which was proposed by President Xi Jinping. Over the past decade, the initiative has become a widely welcomed international public good and a platform for international cooperation. It has brought tremendous opportunities of development and prosperity for all the countries that have joined.

福建是古代“海上絲綢之路”的重要起點(diǎn)，也是“21世紀(jì)海上絲綢之路”核心區(qū)。中國(guó)日?qǐng)?bào)網(wǎng)攜手福建湄洲日?qǐng)?bào)，共同主辦了本次《漫繪新絲路》征集活動(dòng)。 活動(dòng)聚焦漫畫這一藝術(shù)形式，力求以視覺語(yǔ)言展現(xiàn)“一帶一路”建設(shè)的活力，共同描繪“一帶一路”的美麗畫卷，積極推動(dòng)文明交流互鑒，以美構(gòu)建人類命運(yùn)共同體，以新視角、新思考展現(xiàn)開放包容的中國(guó)式現(xiàn)代化，傳播海上絲綢之路文化遺產(chǎn)的內(nèi)涵和價(jià)值，展望新時(shí)代美好前景。

Fujian was a major starting point of the ancient maritime Silk Road and also an important hub of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. Together with Meizhou Daily from Fujian province, China Daily is hosting this collection under the theme “Capturing the Belt and Road”. The activity focuses on the art form of cartoons and aims to display the vigor of the Belt and Road through visual language. By painting the beautiful landscape of the Belt and Road, which promotes exchanges among different civilizations and thus builds a community with a shared future of mankind, we hope to present our readers a new angel of understanding the Chinese path to modernization. While inheriting the cultural heritages and values of ancient maritime Silk Road, we are also embracing the bright future of a new era.

借助本次活動(dòng)，我們希望能以豐富的漫畫作品編織“融匯”之美，展現(xiàn)絲路的古今故事，力求通過(guò)這些作品，讓國(guó)人更真切地感受世界，讓世界更好地了解中國(guó)，讓所有人都能一起欣賞“一帶一路”建設(shè)的多彩篇章。

The collection also aims to display the beauty of integration. It includes stories of the Silk Road from both ancient and modern times. Through the artists’ works, we hope to help Chinese readers gain a better understanding of the world, and hope the world might also gain a better understanding of China.
